Something Quick Because I've Not The Time But Have Been Bugged To Write A Post

I've been bad!  I haven't been keeping you updated as I should.

Ignore the complete cheesiness of that smile.  Saturday I went on a leadership retreat for my uni.  We went to West Virginia and did a ropes course, some team-building/leadership activities...  The sort of thing that you think of when you hear "leadership retreat activities".  This is me right before the ropes course, which wasn't very tall or very hard (55ft, I think).  Still, it's the first time I've had the guts to do that, so I decided to commemorate the event with a picture.

Then, after all of the TMNT, ropes course, leadership-y fun, I went to an Elephant Shortcut concert up in the dance studio.  They were amazing, as usual.  I helped with their merch stand in the back, otherwise I would've been in the front row without a doubt.

Fast-forward to today, where I was occupying the campus koi pond in protest of the 1% who think that pouring motor oil and other harmful chemicals into the pond and killing the fish is amusing.  It was a serious enough protest conducted in a slightly satirical way.  Last time I checked, we had over 200 names on the petition, which is over a quarter of the student population here at my tiny lib-arts school.

So yes, I've been keeping busy.  That's why I haven't had time for updating my blog, of course.  I'm not making any promises, but I'll try to be a little more active on this blog from now on.  Key word: try.
