Springtime for Hitler and Germany

After a few a few interrupted attempts at sleep (I write about sleeping a lot, don't I?), I decided that the Big Guy Upstairs was telling me that I had better things to do.  ...Like blog!  :)

Uh, well, what do I talk about?  The weather?  I think it's finally Springtime

for Hitler and Germany...

and I love it.  There are scores of dandelions all over the place for me to pick, sunny skies, and no shivers!  I can feel my thoughts getting a little lighter, and I bet that Peter Pan and Tinkerbell are going to come and pick me up any minute.  Just a little fairy dust and I'd be off to Neverland.

I wish I could think of something to talk to you about, guys.  To be honest, my life isn't that eventful.  I don't do exciting things or have a long, drawn-out romantic drama to deal with, nor do I study hard and party harder.  I'm an average college kid doing average college things.  I don't go to bed before midnight and I've discovered a love for riding in the back of pickup trucks.  Thank you, Virginia, for letting that be legal.

This weekend is our spring formal, boo on the formal.  But, formal attire or not, I am so excited.  I love dances, although I don't really know why.  Maybe it's something about the music coupled with the conversations shouted over said music, plus the fact that it's a chance to really let loose and be just a body for a while.  I love dancing.  I love dances.  I love music.  Win win win!  I love dancing with people that are just as uninhibited as I am, that don't give a hoot what they look like while they're doing it or what other people might be thinking.

The semester is over in about two weeks.  I don't know whether I wish it could be longer or am so completely exhausted that I want it to end now.  It's been a huge semester for me, what with my surprise wrestling career, and I've hardly done a drop of homework for a week or two.  On top of that, I've got Spring Fever.  More often than not, I would give anything to be outside hiking, longboarding, or exploring instead of sitting in class.

But all of that is pretty normal, too.  I'm just an average college kid that's about to open the blinds and climb out of the window.

It's okay, I live on the first floor.
